One Sunday morning,there were some people in Zhongshan Park. At a stand, a woman was buying an ice-cream when a young man behind her snatched her handbag away. She shouted, "Stop,thief! He's snatched my bag! "Heating this, a few people began to run after him. There was an old man sitting quietly on a bench nearby. As the snatcher was running past him, the old man quickly picked up his umbrella and put it between the snatcher's legs. The young man fell down on the ground heavily. Soon two policemen came in a police car and arrested him. The woman thanked the old man,and the people around praised the old man for his cleverness.

抓贼
一个星期天的上午，中山公园里有许多人。在站台上，一位妇女正在买冰淇淋，这时站在她后面的一位年轻人偷走了她的手提包。于是她喊到：“抓贼!他偷走了我的包。”听到这些话，有几个人开始去追他。这时附近一位老人正安静地坐在凳子上。当这个小偷经过他身边时，他很快地拿出他的伞，放在这个人的腿间。这个年轻人重重地跌倒在地上。不一会，一辆警车开过来，两名警察抓住了他。这位妇女非常感谢这位老人，周围的人也对老人的智慧赞叹不已。

Oct. 19th Tuesday Fine
One afternoon, on my way home, I saw an accident: a car hit an
old man!
I shouted to the pedestrians for help, but no one stopped. When the car driver saw this, he quickly closed the window Of the car and drove away."What shall I do? The old man needs help."I thought.
At that time, a truck stopped and out came the driver. "What's wrong with the old man, boy? What could I do?" the driver asked me. "Uncle, please help the old man. A car hit him and he is badly injured! "I said. "Well, don't worry. Let me take him to the hospital.'' the driver said.
A few minutes later, the driver took the old man to the hospital and I telephoned the police station. I told the whole story to the police and I also told them the number of the car. The police said to me, "Well done, boy! Leave it to us. He must be punished!" Then I went to the hospital to see the old man.
When I got home, it was 7:30. I think what I did was fight.

一件好事

一天下午，在我回家的路上，我亲眼目睹了一场车祸：一辆汽车撞倒了一位老人。
我大喊着向行人道上的路人求助，但是没有人停下来。那个汽车司机看到这一切后，迅速地摇上汽车玻璃，逃之夭夭。“我该怎么办?那个老人需要帮助啊。”我想。
这时，一辆卡车停了下来，司机下了车。“这位老人怎么了，我能做些什么呢?”司机向我询问。“叔叔，请救救这位老人吧，一辆汽车把他撞倒了，他受了很重的伤!”我回答道。“噢·，别着急，让我把他送到医院去。”那个司机说。
几分钟后，司机把老人送到医院，我也给警察局去了电话。我向警察讲述了整个事情的经过，并告诉他们肇事者的车牌号码。警察对我说：“做得对，孩子!交给我们办吧。他一定会受到惩罚的!”接着我就到医院去看望那位老人。
当我回到家已经7：30了，我想我所做的一切都是对的。

Today is September 10. It is Teachers'Day. Xiao Hua has been ill in bed for more than a week. Her teacher comes to her home to give her lessons after school every day. In order to show their respect, Xiao Hua and her mother decide to give the teacher a present.They make a big red flower. When the teacher arrives, Xiao Hua presents the flower to the teacher. She fastens it to the breast of her teacher' s jacket, and says "Happy Teachers' Day" to her. The teacher expresses her thanks and sets down to give her lessons. Xiao Hua's mother pours a glass of water for the teacher and puts a lamp on the table.

A flood disaster took place in some areas in China. It had been raining all those days and never stopped, which led to the flood. The PLA men arrived immediately to rescue the villagers of the flooded areas. And they did their best to fight against the flood. They supplied the villagers with fresh vegetables and food. Some medical teams were organized to help them so that they could have healthy diet. Poisonous food and dead animals were not allowed to be eaten and the water must be cleared over and over again before being drunk. The doctors told them to pay special attention to their health. Some leaders of our country also inspected the areas. Supplies and money from all parts of our country were sent to those areas to support them. After a long time, everything went on very well. And that was a sign of victory.

One day on his way home, Mr. Smith saw a thief carrying a TV set and a recorder running along the street hurriedly. He didn't stop the thief. Instead, he pulled down his hat and pretended not to have seen him. A few minutes later, a policeman stopped him and asked if he had seen a man with a TV set and a recorder pass by. Mt. The Beijing Zoo is the largest in Asia and one of the largest in the world. There are hundreds of different kinds of animals in it.
We can see yellow, green, orange and brown birds, which can sing nice songs. The elephants have a long nose and big ears and they are kind to humans. We can also see big and little monkeys running and dancing, just like happy children. Pandas, with good manners, are very friendly and polite to visitors. We will certainly have a good time there.

My uncle will never forget what happened to him yesterday.
In the evening, he was invited to an inn. He enjoyed his dinner with his friends, drinking a lot of beers. As a result, he got drunk.He insisted on driving home after the meal, although his friends tried to persuade him not to do so.
A few minutes later, he was winding his way on the street. And then his car ran into a tall tree. Fortunately, he was still alive, though seriously injured. 我的叔叔将永远忘不掉昨天发生的事情。
昨天傍晚，朋友邀请他去喝酒。他和朋友们吃得很开心，也喝了很多酒。结果，他醉了。朋友劝他留下来，但他坚持开车回去。
一会儿后，车在路上摇摇晃晃，然后就撞到一颗树上了。幸运的是，他尽管伤得很重，但没有生命危险。警察来到事故现场，然后把他送到了医院。自然，他必须在医院里呆上几天。更为糟糕的是，他被吊销了驾驶执照。他对自己所做的事感到万分后悔。

My home village is a small one. It's in Yuxian county of Shanxi Province. Small as it is, it's very beautiful.
There are many hills around my home village and they are more beautiful than some big mountains. In spring, we can fly kites which are made by ourselves on the top of the hills. The kites fly very high.In summer, the trees are green and the grass is green, too. It is green everywhere on the hills. There are so many wild apple trees on the hills. The wild apples are nice to eat. In autumn, the corns under and around the hills are ripe. So we eat them almost every day. In winter, when it snows, all the ground is covered with snow. We can play with snow and sometimes we eat the clean snow with sugar. In my hometown the sky is blue, the air is clean, the water is sweet and the people are very friendly. I love my hometown!

我的家乡
我的家乡是位于山西盂县的一个小村庄。它虽然小但非常美丽。
家乡被群山环绕，这些小山甚至比大山川还要美丽。春日里，我们在山巅放飞自制的风筝；夏天里，漫山遍野是长得绿油油的草木，各种野果美味诱人；秋日里，山下和山周围的玉米熟了，我们几乎天天能尝到新鲜的玉米；冬日里，雪花飘飘，大地银妆素裹，我们玩雪，有时还就着糖吃几口干净的白雪。我的家乡天空蔚蓝，空气清新，水儿甜美，人们好客。我爱我的家乡。

Our school is one of the key schools in Shanxi Province. It is in the south of Taiyuan city. It has a long history and is famous for its high-quality teaching.
There's about 1 000 students and 120 teachers in our school.The teachers work very hard and are strict with their students. It is they who teach the students how to be useful persons. All the students are diligent. Even at night, the c]assrooms are as bright as in the day time. Every year, our school sends many students to co]leges for their further study.
Our school is beautiful. Our teaching building is surrounded with trees and flowers. Now another building is being built and soon we will have our lessons in it. Our playground is the largest one among those of all the schools in the city.
I'm lucky to study in such a good school and I am proud of our school.

我们的学校
我们的学校是山西省的一所重点中学， 它位于太原市的南部，它历史悠久，并以高质量的教学而著称。

In order to see the sunset, I got everything ready before 5 in the afternoon. Then I went to the East Hill.
At that time, the sun was already in the west, but it was still shining. Its light was so bright that I couldn't even open my eyes.When I arrived at the East Hill, the light became a bit yellow. After a short while, it was completely golden, then red. The sun nearly set.It was like a big red ball. The clouds around it were also painted red.Little by little the clouds covered the sun more and more. At last it disappeared behind the clouds. It was dark and I hurried back.

日落
为了看日落，下午5点前我就把一切都准备好了，然后就去了东山。

Summer is the great season for all sports in the open air. It is the season for baseball which is often called the national sport because of its popularity, i usually watch television and read the newspaper reports about the baseball results of the little leagues. During summer I like to go to the beach. Because it is very close to my home in the village. I usually go there during the summer vacation to relax after many months in school in the city. I feel very comfortable with the familiar villagers.

The giant panda is known as the national treasure of China. The panda was a kind of ordinary animal in China long ago. However, for some reasons, too many of them have been killed. So the number of them is falling quickly.
At present people are taking an important measure to save pandas. People want to find a home for them, and recently, they have set up a nature park for them in Sichuan Province,which is called "Pandas' Home. "There pandas can enjoy their life happily. There is a bamboo forest near the Pandas' Home. So the pandas can find bamboos easily which they like to eat very much.
Because pandas are well protected now, the number of them is increasing every year. We hope that one day we will have enough pandas to set them free and let them live in the wild again.
Pandas are good friends of man. Man should try to protect them and ]et them live in the way they like!

保护大熊猫
大熊猫被称为中国的“国宝”。很久以前，大熊猫是中国的一种很普通的动物。然而，由于种种原因，熊猫大量地死亡，所以它们的数量也急剧下降。
目前，人们正采用一种重要的手段来拯救熊猫。人们想给它们找一个自己的家，近来已经在四川省建成了一所自然公园，叫做“熊猫之家”。在那儿，熊猫们愉快地享受着它们的生活。“熊猫之家”附近有一片竹林，所以熊猫不用费力就能找到它们爱吃的竹子。
由于受到良好的保护，近些年来，熊猫的数量逐年增长。我们希望在将来的某一天，当我们有足够多的熊猫时，我们便还它们以自由，让它们重返自然。
熊猫是人类的好朋友，人类应该保护它们，让它们过上随心所欲的生活。

The city of Hangzhou lies in the southeast of China and faces the East Sea. It is famous for its beautiful West Lake with a long history.Whenever you come to this modern city you will see many parks and some places of interest around the West Lake. During the holidays or festivals or at the weekends, people like boating on the water or walking on the paths of the woods or sitting on the ground to have a picnic. What a good time they have! Since the politics of the reforming and opening were carried out by the government of Hangzhou, plenty of tall buildings have been set up and great changes have taken place in this city.
