For Discussion:
1/ You should always smile .Do remember ,people always feel your smiles on the other side of the telephone even though they can't see you.
2/ Be sincere and always think in the others' shoes. Just imagine what you'll think or feel if you're the Enligh learner instead of a teacher.
3/ Make some conclusions always at the end of the talking. Help the learners find out their problems systematically. Never let them "slip" away with bunches of problems that are not yet or will never be solved. Everytime when I point out the problems in their conversation, they'll feel it's worth of their time and money and what's most important, they get something real and concrete from you instead of idling away half an hour night by night--with you.
4/ Give them some long-term advice because they really want to improve English skills in a short period.
